I'm Alex England, a freelance editor based in London. While primarily focusing on editing, I have also spent some time directing my own content, and have experience in creating complex visual effects.
I currently edit behind the scenes for TV drama, recent credits including the BBC's One of Us and The Musketeers, and ITV's Prime Suspect: 1973, as well as both series of Unforgotten. I also worked as an Assistant Editor on The Making of the Sound of Music Live, which aired shortly before Christmas on ITV1.
I have substantial experience in editing software from both Apple and Adobe's suites, including Final Cut Pro X, Premiere Pro and After Effects. I also have some experience with Avid Media Composer, Da Vinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro 7 and a variety of Red Giant's visual effects and colour grading plugins.
I work with an independent production company, Bad Rum Productions, acting primarily as an editor and visual effects supervisor. We specialise in short films, music videos, promotional films and events coverage, and I have been involved in each in some capacity.
